I changed the drawing in photoshop...
made the surrounding area much darker.

life size; about 4' x 6'

done in conte with some dusty chalk material, I think it's charcoal......sorry I dont know the art lingo
I also used some blue, green, and turquoise childrens chalk (word to the wise; childrens chalk is horrible)

I cant draw faces, so I put a cigarette on him....it's a gimmick

Freaky atmosphere

I think the dark background works pretty well actually

There´s just something odd with people that likes to sit around naked in a room with people drawing them.

I really love large format drawings or paintings and this one is enigmatic enough that I believe it would catch nearly anyone's attention. I also think you did just fine with the face, although the cigarette adds a certain "flavor" to the drawing.

it's strange how much a little cigarette can change everything.
I used to do the cigarette thing in life sculpture class as well....

Ohh, very creepy and ominous.. But awesome and gorgeous too. I love the tones of oranges and the hints of bluey cyan. I like your life drawings.. they're very unique. I wish I had some models that would pose for me.
