I apologize for the update, but I thought I would upload a better image cause this happens to be my favourite of all the life drawings I've done. I ran my original image through photoshop and made the atmosphere much darker, and I rotated the image so that it's vertical now (it was horizontal before). just tilt your head to the left to see how it looked when it was horizontal oh and maybe I should explain what you're looking at; it's a man sandwiched between a mannequin and a woman. take care... -------------------------------------------------- more life size figure drawings.... done in charcoal |

I still remember the first time someone called my style surreal and compared it to Dali. It was a reference made by a sculpture teacher of mine many years ago. I often wish I could remove that moment from my memory because I think it has changed the way I work. It made me more conscious of what I was doing, and before that I was working with a blank slate...
But thanks for that comparison though......I think I have adjusted and become more appreciative to those comparsions....

It's so freaking dusty......Im sure it has literally taken years off my left.
The first thing I do after I come home from drawing is blow my nose, and the kleenex is always black....it's horrible
