Artist's Comments
Here is my interpretation of Humpty Dumpty for my Alice in Wonderland series.
This is a concept series I have been developing since Sept. '07, and only recently have I started production on the series. This is number 1 of 9 sculptures I will be completing. .....also, this Humpty Dumpty interpretation is also the most straight-forward and normal character of the series. The rest of the characters will be much more different than their original counter-parts. ...and please listen to one of these complimentary songs. [link] or [link] pick one song only..... ....seriously....haha Materials; super sculpey polymer clay Size; 8 inches, head to toe ....this Humpty Dumpty sculpture is a 2-parter. Part 2, (which will show the aftermath), will be posted during Easter... by the way; I've found a way to colour sculpey without painting, or mixing fimo (or any other polymer clays). The coloured veins on this sculpture is the result of that experimenting......I still can't find a way to make a pure "white" colour though... He's not eggnostic....but he's eggnorant.....haha Im an idiot..... **sits quietly** |
