hey look, a sculpture.......Finally!!!
My version of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum... ...number 2 of my Alice in Wonderland series. It was a pain in the ass to sculpt, cause I literally took weeks just staring at the piece trying to figure out the best angles for the limbs.....and then I would tear off all the clay and start over. I did that to each limb about 5-10 times. ....and having armature wire rising to the surface didn't help make things easier either. After all these years of sculpting I still have a difficult time determining the position of the wire structure once I've placed the clay onto it's surface. I wish I could talk about the "meaning" of the piece, but for that you would need to view the piece from every angle... .....and even then I probably wouldn't tell you much. ....I don't know what else to say....
